F-Zero made it's debut on the SNES, but the N64 game F-Zero X took the series on a whole new level. It's hard to believe that there was about a 8 year gap between the two games.
8 years was worth the wait for F-Zero fans, with better gameplay, 3D graphics, new tracks, and a better sense of speed. Though F-Zero GX on Gamecube might feel like you're in overdrive, this one is quite a bit slower, but maintain's it's own feel and helped evolve the series. Hopefully F-Zero will get another sequel either on Wii or 3DS.
