Fact of the Day: George Washington Carver Didn't Invent Peanut Butter

While many give credit to Carver for inventing peanut butter, this is hardly the case. Aztec societies had an early form of peanut butter, and a Canadian named Marcellus Gilmore Edson patented it in 1884. Carver did however come with over 300 uses for peanuts along with other types of produce.
