Fact of the Day: A Dark Picture Says Zero Words


Nicéphore Niépce is credited with the invention of the camera, and is the world's first photographer. However the world's first photo is no longer available to gaze upon. While experimenting with his invention, the camera worked fine however he didn't know exactly how to get photos to display right. The picture came out, but eventually became too dark to see.
