A Look Into History: Thomas Nelson, Jr.

Thomas Nelson, Jr. was one of America's least memorable founding fathers. He's considered one of the nation's fathers due to the fact he signed the Declaration of Independence as a member of the Virginia delegation. He later became Governor of Virginia succeeding Thomas Jefferson. According to legend, Nelson Jr. asked George Washington to fire at his home that was being used as a base for the English General Charles Cornwallis.
