Fact of the Day: Knowing Your Downfall

While Marie Curie discovered radiation with her husband Pierre, she actually died from long-term affects. She didn't have safe enough equipment, and because of this exposure she eventually developed aplastic anemia which killed her.

  4. I discovered methane being released from my posterior. It hasn't killed me yet, but some episodes HAVE been pretty close to what you'd call DEADLY....

  9. It's sad that that's why she passed away, but we can be thankful to her findings for helping protect us now.
