Fact of the Day: President's Flock

Woodrow Wilson had a flock of sheep on the White House lawn during World War I. Not only were they used an American symbol but they also kept the lawn short and their wool was auctioned off for a benefit to the Red Cross.

  1. That is hilarious! Now the only sheep are in Congress.

  2. HAHAHAHA! What a fun fact. Fun photo.
