Fact of the Day: Romney And Nixon

Mitt Romney's father George Romney ran for president in 1968, but lost the nomination to (the eventual winner) Richard Nixon. He later served in his cabinet as United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. His birthplace in Mexico was brought up to issue during the primaries as it was not clear of who qualified as a "natural-born citizen".
