Fact of the Day: Loyal Lincoln

While the name "Fido" is synonymous with dogs, it actually means "trust" or "faithful" in Latin. The reason the name became popular is mainly credited to President Abraham Lincoln. A few years before he was elected president, he had named his dog Fido.
