Fact of the Day: Ice Skating's Origin

Ice Skates are believed to have originated in southern Finland more than 3000 years ago. Except the primitive "skates" merely glided on the ice.

  6. Gliding over the ice is a good thing I think! I've never been able to master it though I've tried a few times. I was always afraid I'd fall and break something :)
