Fact of the Day: Dark Leopards

Black panthers aren't really their own species of animal. In the Eastern Hemisphere they're really leopards, and in the Americas they're really jaguars.

  5. And guess what? There are black jaguars in the jungle where I live here in Akumal. The Mayans call them Ek Balam. They're guardians of the night.

    1. depends on who you ask. There is a group calling themselves the new party, but members of the old do not recognize them as their successors.
