Fact of the Day: Septem Month

The month of September get it's name from the Latin word "septem" which means "seven". Back during the days of the Roman Empire, September was once considered the seventh month of the year (March was the first) and its name never changed even when the calendar system was reformed.

  10. 7th month? and march as the 1st? where did january & february come in? does that mean the months back then were longer?
