Fact of the Day: Presidential Thanksgiving

Since 1947, it has become a tradition for the President of the United States to "pardon" a turkey from the holiday. The fortunate turkey lives the rest of its days on a historic farm.

  6. When The West Wing was airing on TV they did a wonderful story about the pardoning of the Thanksgiving Turkey. I hope they repeat it again this year. Happy Thanksgiving.
