Fact of the Day: Easter Island

The Polynesian island called Christmas Island gets its name for one special reason. The first European explorer Jacob Roggeveen found the island on Easter Sunday in 1722.

  10. Someone sent me a forwarded mail about there being stone bodies underneath the heads. I wonder if it's true or a hoax. You never know these days.
