Things I Hate: Flat Tires

Anyone with a car will eventually run into this problem. Sometimes you have an idea when your tire will be replaced but often it comes as a surprise. My first one was by far the worst as it literally fell apart while driving. I just had my latest one the other day, but luckily it never went completely flat. Had more than enough time to get where I needed to go without resorting to using a spare tire.

  1. Glad you weren't stranded. Those flats can sometimes happen in the most inconvenient places.

  2. I have my tires check regularly. Having a flat is one of my greatest fears of happening on the road.

  4. Flat tires suck! Thankfully, I've only had two in all my driving years; one of them was very recent. Glad you made it to where you needed to go.

  5. Flat tires are a pain! But our new car came with NO spare....they put run flat tires on it. You are supposed to be able to drive 100 miles at 50mph on a flat with them. I'm not looking forward to seeing what it costs to buy new ones when the time comes, though!

  6. I have honestly never had a flat tire. I dread the day that it happens though!

  8. Have you checked the band? I guess your car was punctured, as it was totally deflated. Anyway, it’s always best to keep a spare tire in your compartment to prevent these compromising situations. And knowing how to change the tire yourself is certainly a big perk, especially when you don't have time to wait for someone who knows how to come along.
