Fact of the Day: Siam

While Thailand has always been called Mueang Thai to its people, the country (to the English-speaking world) used to be known as Siam.

  2. This fact reminds me a film today, " Anna and the king" by Jodie Foster , I think it is based on this island-country. Kisses:)

    1. Yes I believe they called him the King of Siam in the movie. But thailand isn't an island.
