Fact of the Day: Swimming President

Gerald Ford was the first president to have a pool at the White House. It was built in 1975, and he used it quite often.

  10. Ford might have had the first "outdoor" pool at the White House, but FDR had an indoor pool. I believe it was beneath the current press room.
