Fact of the Day: Volcano Ocean

While volcanoes exist around the world, the most notable are the ones in the Ring Of Fire. The Ring of Fire makes up most coastlines that border the Pacific Ocean. The vast majority of the world's volcanoes are in The Ring of Fire.

  6. I've only seen three volcanoes: Vesuvius, Hekla, and Etna.
Luckily, Vesuvius and Hekla weren't active (and thank goodness Vesuvius wasn't right?). Etna routinely smokes/becomes active. It really is a beautiful sight.

  10. I was going to say this reminds me of the Johnny Cash song which I am now listening to on YouTube. Fascinating fact on the volcanoes Adam. I still remember when Mount Saint Helen's blew. We were living 800 miles away at the time and our sky was yellow and we had flecks of ash falling. It was the strangest thing I have ever experienced.
