dINDN'T KNOW that!Well, now I do, thanks.
Wow, every year!
they should just leave them at the hunters' doorsteps so that those idiots wouldn't have to hunt them for antlers....
A new set every year? Pretty cool.
Out with the old, in with the new!
I wonder if it hurts like a new tooth. So technically hunters could pick up antlers on the forest floor if all they want is the trophy.
They sure get pretty big too
Didn't know they lost them every year
I always wanted a chandelier made of antlers but I only bought one when I discovered the animals shed their antlers and aren't killed for them.
Great post! Have an amazing day!Kenny,WHATKENNYHEARTS.COMINSTAGRAM @kennydaily / BLOGLOVIN / FACEBOOK

Definitely wouldn’t have known that from any source other than here!
I didn't know that! I thought they had the same antlers for life!
FINALLY...a fact that I DO know. hahhaaAfter they lose them, while the new ones are growing in, they are covered with what we call "velvet" and they are sooo pretty.
Interesting. I didn't know that.
We have deer all winter long out back. So pretty.PS: If you're interested, The Nanny is available on DVD or on Youtube.Cheers and boogie boogie.
That's kind of weird. I wonder if it hurts when they lose them. Kinda like how losing a tooth is kind of painful.
Is really amazing!
It's so amazing to me that they can carry that heavy load on their heads.
