Fact of the Day: Deer Antler

While deers are known for their antlers, but they can and will lose them. Almost all male deer will regrow their antlers every year.

  2. they should just leave them at the hunters' doorsteps so that those idiots wouldn't have to hunt them for antlers....

  3. I wonder if it hurts like a new tooth. So technically hunters could pick up antlers on the forest floor if all they want is the trophy.

  4. I always wanted a chandelier made of antlers but I only bought one when I discovered the animals shed their antlers and aren't killed for them.

  9. FINALLY...a fact that I DO know. hahhaa
    After they lose them, while the new ones are growing in, they are covered with what we call "velvet" and they are sooo pretty.
