Fact of the Day: John and Abe

Like any presidential inauguration, there were many at Abraham Lincoln's 2nd's inaugural address. Most notably in the crowd are John Wilkes Booth and many of the people who were responsible for Lincoln's assassination about a month later.

  4. This was a terrible time in history. Altho I am not an Obama fan, I have prayed for his safety all along
    I so remember the day JFK was killed...we were watching it on tv...then, we were also watching when Oswald got it. .

  5. I would imagine most of the people in Washington were at the inaugural that day.
