Fact of the Day: Blue Angels

The U.S. Navy's Blue Angels have given countless peaceful demonstrations since its founding in 1946. The Blue Angels are one of the oldest formal flying aerobatic teams in the world, second to only France's Patrouille Acrobatique de France.

  4. I love the Blue Angels, Adam. One of the best days of my life was seeing the Blue Angels perform in a joint show with the Canadian Snowbirds and the British Red Arrows over the prairie where Denver International Airport was under construction. Beyond description!

  5. I saw them a couple of times years apart. They are very impressive and I love how they send a team to mix in and talk with the kids who are over the moon to get their photos taken with them.

  9. One time while we were living on our boat, the Thunderbirds [USAF] were doing a demonstration and flew just about our mast with afterburners roaring! My bones vibrated. Unforgettable.
