Question: Do You Have Good or Bad Eye-Sight?

I unfortunately inherited my father's terrible eyesight. I remember him wearing those big bifocal glasses before he passed away. I used to see fine when I was little but by 9th grade I couldn't even see the board in school. I wore glasses for many years, until I got contacts about four years ago. I don't think I'll get that laser eye surgery stuff though.

  1. It all depends, when I sit a long time behind the computer, I would say bad.

  2. I wear progressive lenses, as you get older, it's hard to read the fine print! I'm near-sighted as well. I wouldn't do the laser stuff either, scary but it works I'm sure.

  3. I started wearing glasses in the 4th grade. I've heard lots of good things about laser.

  4. I started wearing glasses in the fifth grade. Later, I wore contacts for many years. If I were younger and money wasn't a consideration, I'd have the laser surgery today. Enough people have benefited from it for me to no longer be worried about it.

  10. I use reading glasses and need to go get a stronger prescription big time. I'm also noticing a definite blurring of long distance these days. Never got contacts because the thought of putting anything on my eyeball gave me the eebeejeebies. Oh well!

  15. I have a lazy eye (left). It could've been corrected when I was very young, but nobody told my parents, and it stayed that way. My right eye had perfect vision through my life, but now that I'm older, I need reading glasses. I still don't need to wear glasses regularly for distance.

  18. I have good eyesight but, being an old woman, I do wear readers.
Our daughter is a nurse and she wears contacts and glasses....she won't even THINK about the eye surgery, either. She thinks too many things can go wrong.
