Random Photo: Blue on Halloween

During our time on Halloween, my brother's dog Blue was exiled to another room. At least until she calmed down from all the excitement of the holiday. She did really well once she was allowed in the living room. When trick-or-treaters came to the door, she looked but she didn't try to run outside. My dog certainly doesn't have the much self-control.

  1. My dog goes nuts on Halloween with all the doorbell ringing and knocking. Not as traumatic as 4th of July and New Year's Eve, though. The fireworks drive her crazy!

  2. I think Blue did exceptionally well. All those doorbells and trick-or-treaters can really work the nerves.

  3. That's interesting about the dogs. Never thought about that as we don't exercise Halloween down here where I live.

  5. I've always been amazed that my dog never runs out an open door. He's pretty much a knucklehead most times, but pretty well-behaved.

  6. Halloween is not the favorite thing for pets. Actually, not even safe anymore for children.

  7. My dogs have to get locked up too. Not only do they want to attack the people that come to the door, they want to steal the candy too!
