Fact of the Day: Pale Blue Dot

As it was leaving the Solar System past the final planets, Voyager 1 (at the request of Carl Sagan) turned it's camera the other way around and took a last photo of Earth. From such a long distance, Earth was nothing more than pale blue dot.
