Fact of the Day: Squirrel Adoption

While squirrels aren't considered social animals, they can care for the young of motherless babies. Squirrels can adopt orphan babies, though studies have show they will only do so if they are closely related.

  15. My sister in law has adopted her own little squirrel. The stupid thing always runs up to us when we go to her house because he thinks we are going to feed it. He's a little fatty from what she already gives him!
