Mike Huckabee Complains About Secular Theocracy?

Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee might not be a Fox News pundit anymore, but he's kept the tradition of distorting the truth. Huckabee was recently on a religious talk-show, and agreed with the host that America is in a "secular theocracy". I hate to break it to ol' Mike but a theocracy is a government ruled on religion, and the word "secular" means not attached to religion with no bias. Huckabee then said he doesn't mean to create a Christian theocracy, but insisted that America must become a "God-centered nation".  I don't know about you, but I don't trust this guy or most of his party to keep the freedom of religion in this country pure and in-tact.

  1. I have concerns regarding him as well. We're not a "one size fits all."

  2. Sounds like he's talking out of both sides of his mouth :) I personally think religion has no business in government. It's a private matter.

  5. The best thing this country ever invented was Separation of Church and State. Mike is playing word games; he wants the government to reflect HIS religion.
