Fact of the Day: Panda Raccoon

Despite its name, red pandas are not closely related to panda bears. They are more related to raccoons and weasels.

  3. one of my fave animals. Sadly, I read yesterday an article at Daily Mail on racoon dogs being skinned alive in China for fur coats.... it still torments me..... not that killing pigs and chicken to be eaten in the West is any less barbaric and disgusting

  9. Gosh....I'd hate to be related to weasels...:) He does have a cute face.
    We had a cold front blow in last night...27 degrees right now and a chance of snow tonight. Brrrrr....I want our warm weather back
