Polar bears are excellent swimmers. It isn't uncommon for researchers to study a polar bear to swim more than 30 miles without stopping.

    1. Christ almighty - don't you read nature stories??
Donald Duck and Micky Mouse are Walt Disney fantasies!
What planet do you live on??
Seems that John Wayne and his exploits irrespective of Joe Stalin,
who had no chance of assassinating the greatest US "war hero and 5 star General" John Wayne, an icicle's hope in hell of success.
Good God - John Wayne has saved the US from Red Indians, Mexicans, Spaniards, won WW 1 and 2 battles, killed Germans, Japanese, Vietnamese,
North Koreans, Chinese - thankfully Polar bears were not on the General John Wayne Radar. Maybe that is why they are such good swimmers???
I wonder from "Down Under" how the USA has survived without the "pin up boy" of the looney right Tea Party able to survive.
Oh yes I forgot - the family Bush of the great state of Texas still exist.
See the movie: "The Longest Day" and how Johnny boy won the war!
Claptrap garbage - the moment he came on screen.
I do suppose that you know where Pearl Harbour is?????

    1. Dig up John Wayne???
Being so immune from arrows and bullets,
I am sure that his body will be still edible.
Polar Bears are not all that particular in what they
      eat.

  7. They seem too chubby to be able to go that kind of distance. But then again, looks are deceiving with these guys. They are not cuddly either.

  8. I've read that more polar bears are being found dead at sea because of melting ice. While it's true they can swim long distances, they're still land creatures and need to leave the water to rest.
