Fact of the Day: Frog Tail

The scientific name for frogs and toads is Anura. It's taken from two Ancient Greek words that mean "without" and "tail".

  1. Irrespective of the Greek name, and the ancient Greeks seem to have had more "oompth" and sense than the present mob, frogs and toads with the delightful cockroaches are the most likely species to survive a World Holocaust.
So with the hopefully remote possibility of a Donald Trump ( idiot supremo) or a Jeb Bush ( again may the World be relieved of such) we may all survive.
As for dearest Hilary Clinton - well she is a bit of a problem too. Her e-mails and a certain RED button might confuse her at the Oval desk!!!
So Adam, buddy boy or as we say here in Australia - cobber - Spartanburg just might end up with a frog or cockroach Mayor.
As I was stranded in Spartanburg in the 1980's for two days/nights, it might be an improvement, eh?
Spartanburg is well ingrained into my memory box!

  2. I guess they're emphasizing the fact that they lose their tadpole tails.
