Fact of the Day: Rabid Science

While Louis Pasteur made many great scientific contributions one of his greatest was a vaccine that cured rabies. Before it, the disease would almost certainly mean the eventual death of the person or animal with it.

  1. Adam!
And thus the reason if you read replies to your comments
on overseas travel blogs etc. why Mr and Mrs.Depp are in so
much stench here in Australia. Endeavouring to smuggle their
two wretched pooches into Australia. We don't have rabies here
    and we don't want them.
This latest Caribbean Pirates movie being filmed here will at the rate of
production presently will be the most expensive piece of US thrash that ever hit the
screens. Depp is still the subject of law procedures here and hopefully the Minister
in charge of importation laws wins - Depp will be in the deep - in jail!
I note that the "clown" was born in blue grass thoroughbred horse state - Kentucky.
You'd think he would then appreciate quarantine laws or at least respect them.
I could understand if he came from "Hot Air" Texas - the state with Tennessee,
    of states of stupidity.
Such a pity that when the Lord made the World in 7 days, be didn't again look at what he did with earth on the 8th day - and then just eliminated Texas and Tennessee.
Just think no stupid US Presidents!
His wife, who did the smuggling in - with his knowledge will NEVER (thank God)
    get back here again.
B J Hunnicut - now of an Australian M.A.S.H of the Korean War.
