Fact of the Day: Key West Cold

While most areas of the U.S. can get some snow at least once in a few decades, in some parts of Florida it has never happened. Key West, Florida for example has never had a recorded temperature below 41F (5C) in its history. Snow can only form at 32F (0C) degrees or below.

  1. I just heard this on House Hunters where someone was looking for a house in Key West, a place I'd like to visit.

  5. I love the snow, and I enjoy having the four seasons. What many people consider 'cold' would rethink their judgement if they came to Canada and felt temperatures below 30! Now that is cold!
