Fact of the Day: Turkey Life

Wild Turkeys live for about 3-4 years. However domesticated turkeys can live for about ten years.

  8. It's rough going out there in the wild. Of course being plump and juicy around Thanksgiving isn't a recipe for a long life.

  9. One year at Thanksgiving, we had a domestic turkey and a wild one that Bill had shot just days before. We all liked the turkey from the super market MUCH better. :)
