My Favorite Photos: Christmas in October

I took this photo of my wife Daisy back in October in front of the huge Christmas tree in the Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC. It's a nice pretty tree, but it is silly to see the whole place ready for the holidays before Halloween happened.

  7. Right on. Stores want people to start shopping for Christmas as soon as possible and keep shopping as long as possible... What really gets to me though is the Christmas music. I little in December is fine, but Jingle Bell Rock from early November to Christmas is a bit too much; it could drive a person crazy.

  8. Pretty tree, but you are right. They should have waited until after Halloween to put it up.

  9. I always love seeing your cute wife, smiling...
I don't decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving...
And I hope you have a blessed and fun Thanksgiving...your first, as man and wife...awww, how sweet.

  11. The center of my city is whole in Christmas lights and other things. People start to think about winter holidays too early, although finally it's only a month to that, really waiting for New year and Christmas!;)

Back when I worked retail, it was during fourth of July weekend when the shipments of Halloween stuff would come in. Man, did that make some customers POed.
