My Favorite Photos: Trick-or-Treat 2015

I took this photo as my nieces went trick-or-treating for the first time. I stayed at the house in-case trick-or-treaters came to the door. My mother said that some houses said they had no candy to give out. If you're going to be home on Halloween, be prepared.

  1. This year, first time when I saw here trick-or-treaters, although nobody came to us. Probably it's because we have the pasword on our door to the house.

  2. I didn't get even one kid come to my door. My grandson went out and got a lot of candy. Most people know that if the light is off and the door is closed then they probably won't answer the door.

  3. I wish it was a bigger thing here in Germany. People do dress in a scary way and kids go for trick-or-treating, but it's too rare still if you ask me. I want to visit a haunted house someday ;)

  4. Around here people participating in Halloween turn on their porch lights. If the light is not on they don't even come to your door.

  5. Same as Happyone. If you don't have candy...lights out.

  6. I'm always prepared with lots of candy, but I only buy candy I don't like in case we don't get any kids. I don't want to eat it all.

  7. The homes that participate on Halloween on my street leave their porch lights on as a signal to the kids. The homes are also decorated.

  8. The "rule" here is that if your lights are on outside you are handing out candy. If your lights are off -there is no candy at that house. It works out really well-

  9. We live on a dead end street, so we only get about 20 kids a year. I have way too much candy left over!

  13. Some people just don't celebrate Halloween. Others just don't have the money these days to buy candy so they don't give out candy. Sweet photo.
