My Favorite Photos: Our 2015 Christmas Tree

We had thought about getting a real tree this year but realized that wouldn't be the greatest idea as we drive sedans not trucks. So we found the old artificial tree in the attic and got it down. Daisy did mostly all the work.
She did very well decorating the tree. She did regret not putting enough Christmas lights on it though. But she'll just have to remember that next year when it's time to put up the Christmas tree. I do miss the smell of a real tree.

  1. We've had an artificial tree for 21 years and it still looks good. As does yours!
    Merry Christmas!

  2. I love the smell of a real tree, but alas, we had issues this year as well. Not enough room in our small apartment. So we got a very small artificial tree this year. :)
Great job, Daisy, decorating such a festive-looking tree!

  6. When I was growing up,never had artificial trees. One reason they did not make them back then. I still like them, but artificial much easier to clean up afterwards.

  8. Beautiful pic of your tree...and your wife. There are artificial scents you can spray. Or what about getting a real bough and putting it under the tree. They're not that big. I'm heading north to Ohio for Christmas and while I may not miss the cold, I do miss all the Christmas trimmings. It's not the same here in Mexico.

  9. That is a beautiful tree. And it seems like enough lights to me.

  10. Hang a few pine scented airstrips to the tree to make it smell real. We've had an artificial tree for ten years and people swear it's real. Besides, real trees are getting too darn expensive.

  12. Daisy did a great job decorating the tree. It looks beautiful! I would love to have a real tree, but Colorado is so dry. I've had a fireman as a special friend for a couple of decades now, and I'm scared to death of having a real tree after listening to him so much over the years. May I suggest a candle with a Christmas tree fragrance?
