Funny Story: Cookie Dinner

I once worked as a produce clerk for a supermarket, and I often would be the "closer". I lived about 8 miles away, so if I wanted something there I usually got it on a work-day. Which meant I'd usually get it on my lunch break. I saw a pack of cookies on special, so I got it after I ate lunch. I didn't want to walk out to my car (as they made us park FAR away), so I just took the bag back with me to my department where I put my keys. A lady saw me and asked me if that was my dinner as she was worried. I have seen really awful excuses for lunches (like a soda and a bag of chips) from other people, but really?

  1. I have done the vending machine thing.

I fast for a month a year and go without lunch, and in the weeks after that, I tend to forget to bring anything for lunch. So it's nothing or junk.

  5. Haha! That is a good one. I've had ice cream and leftover pie (along with some cereal) for breakfast...don't tell any health specialists. At least it was apple pie, if I recall, and they do say apples are good for you. And ice cream is made out of milk which is a good healthy dairy product...so maybe that was ok. ;)

  9. It's good that there are such good people. In Ukraine probably it will never happen, cause mostly here nobody care about people that they don't know and everyone's so rude to each other. This fact makes me want never leave my home haha.
