Fact of the Day: Julius Kaiser Tsar

Julius Caesar's last name is what the German word (Kaiser) and the Russian word (Tsar) for Emperor is derived from.

  1. Well it didn't do either too good. Kaisers and Tsars are parts of history.
I wonder will the Trump and Cruz - (not so Kasich -far too sensible - or even little boy, Rubio, think of adding Gaius Julius Caesar to their names? Hopefully, so to appeal to the stupid masses - the Republican Clowns who think that Trump will give them all $100,000 per vote ( maybe they expect $1m - dream on idiots) or the bible readers who think Cruz will assure them of a place in "PARADISE" !
Please come back "BIG JULIE" and sort out this upcoming US elections.
Loved the diplomacy of the "very with it", Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on his first State visit to the USA and his welcome by President Obama.
Loved his reply to that "inane" reporter who asked how he would deal with "President Donald Trump or Cruz".
I think young Justin excelled himself with the reply.
"I think US voters are sensible".

    2. You got the first letter correct - "S".
      I believe you mean "SANE".
I worry for the good people of the USA and the Free "so-called" World and the future if Trump or Cruz by some lunacy becomes President.
I just hope PM Justin Trudeau of Canada is correct, and the present President of Mexico, the other country on your borders, I am guessing thinks the same.
The two past Presidents of Mexico have certainly have made their feelings clear.
I don't think the views of the previous PM of Canada are of any relevance.

  6. I was aware of this from studying Latin in School. I should have studied a language people currently speak.
