Random Photo: Broke TV

My brother's huge TV at his house broke on him the other day. My mom gave him a small TV until they can replace it. So that means my niece Little K will have to watch cartoons on the smaller screen. I doubt she minds, I know when I was a kid I didn't really care what the TV looked like, I just cared about what was on the TV.

  3. True Story: My husband was from Mississippi. Back when B&W tv's first came out his family bought one, but there were no stations being broadcast in their area, so they would watch the 'snow' on the tv until the day they got programs. Me? I have an 81 inch and the thought of watching something teeny on my iPhone makes me shudder.

  4. After 5 minutes of watching something, your mind kind of filters out how big the screen is. Your niece will make it through!

  6. I remember grownups telling me to sit closer to the TV so I wouldn't hurt my eyes.

  7. I have NEVER owned a BIG screen TV. Ours however is big enough. Its even a flat screen, haha. But when I was little, I had a personal tiny TV and liked it better than the family size one. It was personal and all mine.

  11. We had black and white TV when I was a kid. My dad said the picture was much better than the color TVs. Back then he was right. The color TV was not perfected yet.

  12. She seems to be pretty content with what shew has. We never had a TV for many years and it was small, black and white.

  13. When I was a kid everyone had little black and white sets. Couldn't even imagine a television back then like they are now.
