Anna - the "pretty print" will not diminish the fatalside of the bite. Sea snakes are most attractive but if bitten and not treated virtually immediately you are dead within minutes.Swimming in the tropics in the reefed sea lagoons is fraught with danger - SEA SNAKE Territory!I know been there and broke all swimming speed records getting away from a most attractive one. Wewere staring each other in the face - my sea "Joe Blake" was yellow, white, red and black stripes.Very pretty and with deadly intent.Colin

Very nice fact :)
So best to avoid those suckers
Amazing markings - but I will steer clear of an adder should I see one.All the best Jan
The only dangerous snake we have in Finland is also the European viper. I used to meet those at our countryside cottage as a child, but we don't have them in cities like Helsinki. Thank you Adam for stopping by my blog!xxxE from Helsinki, Finlandhttp://helsinkidragonfly.blogspot.fi/
