Afghanistan has a literacy rate of about 38% (even lower for women) which is one of the lowest in the whole world. The major reason is that the nation has been torn apart by war for countless years by many different countries.

  1. I wish all countries would leave the Afghans to sort themselves out. No invader has ever conquered them, no so-called "goody goody" country ever will.
And that goes right back to Alexander, the Great, 356 - 323BC. Still accredited as being the greatest military genius of all time.

  7. it is our neighboring country and if you dig it little more you will find that dark heads of such countries are being puppets in the hands of strong headed politics players of developed countries ,

it is game for whom who use these dark heads [illiterate people ] to make their own state weaker and weaker and keeping their own people illiterate is one of them .illiteracy is darkness in which one cannot find the difference between right and wrong this is beneficiary for the users
