Question: Your First Computer?

I had two of sorts. The very first was an Apple II hand-me-down from our cousin. All I remember doing was playing some golf game and there was an art program that was fun for a time of boredom. Our first real one had like Windows 95 and it was decent enough for us at the time. I don't miss the bulky hardware and the slowness of it now though.

Do you remember your first PC?

  1. My first computer was also a hand me down from my sister in law. We had no idea what we were doing.

  2. I don't remember my first one, I started at the very beginning I think. For my job I used to work on huge mainframe computers, long before PCs became popular, around 1980!

  3. Hmm. Can't remember exactly what kind the first one was, but I think it had either 4MB or 8MB RAM.

  4. I'm old enough to go way back when we used floppy disks! I can't remember my first personal one but it has been obsolete for a very, very long time :)

  5. I remember the Apple II's . One of the smarter things Apple did was to give them to schools.
