Fact of the Day: Melba Food

Melba Garniture, Melba toast, Peach Melba, and Melba sauce were all named after Australian opera singer Nellie Melba. A French chef named Auguste Escoffier created them in her honor.

      Peach Melba is great, but have NEVER seen or tried (naturally)
      Melba Toast.
      Pavlovas are a great favourite here with the "sweet toothed
      fraternity". I love it.
