Fact of the Day: Vegas Clocks

Most casinos (especially in Las Vegas) do not have clocks on the walls. It's a mind trick to keep you unaware of the time and keep you in there longer.

  2. True. Neither shopping malls. Casinos also don't have windows or natural light coming in.

  6. Relatives of mine once brought back this hugely tacky clock from Las Vegas where the numbers were all big red dice.

  7. That's very true. They keep it really dark in the casinos as well, no windows so you don't know how much time you've spent there.

  8. They also pump pure oxygen through the air vents to keep people awake longer.
