Fact of the Day: California Strawberries

In the United States, California is the top producer of strawberries where they grow about 80% of all the country's strawberries.

  3. I always wonder that they do to the strawberries that are coated with chocolate and other goodies and then sent in the mail. How do they not get moody and yucky?

  5. I'm sure many of the strawberries I buy come from there. Until the locally grown ones arrive in the warmer months.

  6. I usually eat "Hoods," which are local here in Oregon. They're smaller but sweeter than California strawberries.
