Question: Have Well Done Do You Like Roasting Marshmallows?

If you've ever been camping in any way shape or form, then you'd probably roasted a marshmallow over a campfire. I haven't done one in a long time, but I only liked it where it was just slightly warm. I remember some kids would get their marshmallows pretty well cooked, and some of them would have it pretty much burnt to a crisp and enjoy it.

How do you like your cooked marshmallows?

  2. It's hard to get it where it is just baked slightly. I used to love it charcoaled but i heard that is not healthy. I do love it when it is runny

  3. Used to roast them until crisp on the outside, tossed the crispy away and ate the innards :-). My whole family does this!?

  4. Toast it gently at first so the inside gets gooey, then set it on fire in a blaze of crispy glory and quickly blow it out. Damn the carcinogens, it's delicious that way!

  6. I get the outside blackened and crispy. Eat that bit. Put the marshmallow back in the fire until it's blackened on the outside again. Eat the burnt bit. Back in the fire. And so on.

I have been told by family members that this will give me cancer, but after a solid 25+ years of doing this every summer, I'm pretty sure that medical advice has no basis in reality.

  9. I'm not sure I've ever had this. Perhaps when I was a kid and I don't remember.

  10. I do not like roasted marshmallows at all. My parents took us camping when I was 5 and told me to make sure I burnt the marshmallow good and black because it was tasty that way. I ate one, hated it so much I ended up vomiting the rest of the night. Even after more than 30 years, I won't touch a stupid roasted marshmallow.
