Photo: Zoo Atlanta Flamingos

I will say I liked the flamingos at Zoo Atlanta, but the funny thing is that I totally overlooked them as we came in. They're right near the entrance and I was stumped on how we didn't see them when we read the zoo map.

  2. You probably were concentrating on checking your map and did not notice. It is hard to see everything at one time. At least, you did see them.

  4. Except for on TV, I've only seen the plastic lawn ornament flamingos.

  5. Go on a visit to the Serengeti in the Kenya region of Africa
and you will see them in the thousands, the sky goes PINK when they
    take to the skies.

  6. They're usually hard to miss because of the noise they make.

  9. I always enjoy seeing them when we visit a zoo, sometimes they get overlooked simply because we know they are going to be there, and miss them when they are right in front of us.
