Fact of the Day: Old Kites

The art of kite-flying most likely originated in China during the 5th Century BC.

  2. I used to really enjoy kite flying years ago, and don't see many people doing it as I did back then. They're definitely not easy to find in stores these days. I had no idea it had been around so long. Hugs...

  8. Kite flying is very popular in S.E Asia and that includes of course Daisy's family homeland, Laos.
    Some of the kites are amazing and BIG. Kite flying on
    resort beaches is something to see.

  9. Terry bought me a kite once, but I could never get it off the ground. I love to see kites flying. It would be fun to see them in China.
