A few months ago I heard of this new ice cream place opening up in our local town. It's the first of its kind (from what I can figure) but the gimmick here to separate it from the other ice cream places is that it's specialty is ice cream sandwiches with custom cookies.
It's pretty custom too, you can pick all kinds of cookies and even switch up with one different cookie on one side and another cookie on the other.
Your filling is just regular ice cream. If you don't like the cookie concept, they do offer just traditional served ice cream and milkshakes as well.
I was fairly excited to try it.
Mine was a chocolate chunk cookie combo with strawberry ice cream in the middle. It was pretty good, but I should have opted for the sugar cookie version. I'm not a big fan of a lot of chocolate at once, and those chunks are full of chocolate. But those who do like a lot of chocolate (I know I'm in the minority there) will love it.
Daisy got a chocolate chunk on one side and an oatmeal cookie on the other. Her ice cream middle was coffee. And she got gummy bears and marshmallows as the toppings. She's always happy.
