Fact of the Day: Prince Hall

Prince Hall was a black free-man who during the 18th century, tried to join a white freemason lodge with others and they were all denied. He then founded his own version of freemasonry. Prince Hall Freemasonry still remains today, though still very segregated from the "mainstream" Freemasonry which the "mainstream" freemasons are mostly white.
