Photo: Smithsonian Zoo Lawn Crew

I saw this guy along with another person at a closed exhibit while we were at the Smithsonian Zoo. You have to figure they always have to take care of their "lawns" but I had never seen it personally. It looks like they do the whole thing with just a string trimmer.

  2. I imagine it's a lot of work keeping the enclosures looking neat and tidy.

  3. May be the ground is too rough to mow..
A lot of hard work would go into keeping it looking nice.

  4. I would really love to work in a zoo...we live so close to one, and I think it's such a cool job. Maintenance is a bit hard though, so something easy:D
