Photos: To The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport!

This is the first time I've been to our international airport, though everyone calls it "small". Which is true when you compare to a major city's main airport, but if you were to say, mop and clean all the floors, it would take you many many hours to do so.
I did enjoy seeing this water fountain inside.
We got some drinks and a few donuts before our flight boarded. Luckily there are places to eat after the security checkpoints which is the main thing I advise you pass to ensure you don't get left behind by the plane.
I was able to see our plane before takeoff. It's a smaller aircraft which carries 50 people plus the crew. I know airplanes are the safest (really!) method of travel, but the paranoid part of my brain was harder to convince. But at this point, I was just slightly nervous.

  6. Me too. I always get a little nervous. They say take off and landing is the most dangerous times. I just HATE the really LONG flights.

  7. Flying makes me nervous as well, though I do enjoy looking out over the landscapes once we are in the air.

  9. 15 years since I've been on a plane. At the time Claveland Hopkins was kind of dowdy, but I think they've spiffed it up since then.

But when I did I was always pleased to touch down safely!
